Sleeping through

I don't want to jinx anything, but I think she's finally sleeping through the night. It's been happening for about a month. Sometimes, she will wake up and leave her bed for a cuddle, but after 1 min I tell her to go back to bed and that I'm right here. She does go back, covers herself up and goes to sleep.

I am hoping this bodes well for when we change the dressing room back into her bedroom. The next moving challenge will be fitting the dressers and a crib into our bedroom.

Happy 2 years

We've managed to keep a small child alive for 2 years.
In that time, she's learned to walk, talk, and has developed into quite the character.
We had a small party here with some friends. The theme was Under The Sea. There was food, fun and friends.

On Family Day, we went to Daddy's Aunt's house and spent time with the family. Kaelynn had run running all over the house.

Physio

     Finally!
Kaelynn is discharged from physiotherapy for her torticollis. She's not so bad to need surgery and only tilts when she's tired/lazy. We're good to go.
Plus, they were impressed with her vocabulary. They came into the room and said that she's having a birthday soon. Her response was "Two".

19 weeks

With Kaelynn, I started taking weekly pics around this time to document her growth. I transferred them onto a canvas (granted backwards). I will do it again, obviously.

I had my monthly check up and everything was good. They had to send my urine to the lab, however. I might have a UTI, only I have 0 symptoms.

Baby Beard

I am currently about 16 weeks along. If I didn't know I was pregnant, I would just think I was getting fat.
I have no real symptoms. O morning sickness this time around. It's a pleasant surprise. I couldn't imagine trying to vomit and hang out with a toddler. I have no real food cravings, but if someone mentions something, I want it. Heartburn and headaches are out of control. The mucus feeling in my chest and throat are worse this time around. Hot lemon water helps so many things.
People keep asking me if Kaelynn.knows. She's not even 2. However, eve everything to her is a baby.

At 14weeks, I'm sure I've felt movement, even if the doctor says I probably won't until now.

Christmas and New Years Eve.

Tonight is NEW YEARS EVE and I am so behind in blogging. I swear there is a good reason for it. This 22.5 month old of mine never slows down.
Words are coming along. When she talks, you can figure out what she wants. Sometimes, you have to think or look where she's pointing, but you'll understand. We're still planning on keeping her speech therapy appointment in May. One thing I've noticed she does is say a word twice: "Mum Mum" "hot hot".

Christmas was great. Everyone got spoiled to the best of our ability and Kaelynn was spoiled beyond that. Gifts and love and food all over the place.
This year, it was a Frozen, My Little Pony, Lego Christmas. It's all over.
Along with the Christmas gifts, I've been keeping a secret. I am currently about 14 weeks pregnant with #2. More on that in another post of it's own.

Feeling useless

Around 1, Kaelynn puked up EVERYTHING, all over the bed, herself & myself. So GROSS. She's never been a puker, so this is new territory. She's also never really been sick, or even had a cold.
Got her & myself cleaned up. Stripped the freshly made bed. The two of us made our way downstairs, until she felt better/fell asleep.
It's now 330am and she's clinging to my arm, watching Curious George. We're waiting for the TeleHealth nurse to call us.
She's vomited bile 3 times & can't hold the few sips of water I gave her. She just holds the bread I gave her. After a quick bath (for comforting/smell removal), I tried to let her nurse. Bad idea. I know why I was putting it off. Instantly, I was telling her to put her head in the bowl & away from mommy.
She fell at the Santa Parade & hit her head. She always hits her head. I have no idea if this is sick or concussion.

I feel useless. She can't use words to tell me what she needs.
