3 days in

We are now 3 days in of wear on my complimentary set of Broadway Nails imPRESS manicure from Influnster. Today, I also had to remove them.
I knew that being a mom, I would be putting them to the test. They survived dishes, diapers, laundry, being knicked with a knife while chopping onions (oops), they did not survive opening a stroller tray. While at the mall, I hit my nail on the lock of the stroller tray. Everything looked fine, if not a little dented underneath. A few hours layer while going to the bus, I noticed I could lift it off my nail. I decided to remove all of them, instead of finding a replacement nail from the remaining ones in their case.
To remove them, it's supposed to be as simple as lifting from the sides/applying nail polish remover to the sides. I tried this and it felt weird and mildly hurt. Instead, I filled my remover cap up and soaked for 20 seconds: removal was super easy now.

This product would be fantastic for a night out or a special event. That is one reason why I searched out what the colours we have in my town. I have decided to purchase the short French manicure ones for a wedding I am in this summer. For everyday mom life, not so fantastic.

First Influenster Box

Today while checking the mail, I got a fantastic surprise: my very first Influenster box. I did the preliminary survey online, but like the last time, I thought nothing would come from it. Introducing imPRESS manicure by Broadway nails.
I open the box & inside are two packages of press on nails. I couldn't wait to try them.
*find the correct size for your nails
*arrange them in order
*cleanse natural nail with provided prep pad
*remove backing
* apply firmly, with your thumbs last
To apply the thumbs last is a fantastic idea, you're going to be using your thumbs to peel off the backing (which is not easy, but you know the glue is strong) and using the styrene of your thumb to press down.
I have never worn fake nails, so this is new for me. I know that before the week is out, I will hopefully be used to them. Currently, doing stuff is awkward and I seem worried about breaking them.
I am curious to see how well they survive my busy life as stay at home mom to a toddler. They have managed to stand up to lots of hand washing and 1 diaper change so far.
I asked my partner how they look and he said he has no ideas about nails. I asked my sisters in law how fake they look, and she said they look "bought", as in not home done.
What do you think?!
